By registering as a seller on WeShopAfrica, you agree to this Seller Policy and our Terms & Conditions. All sellers are expected to comply with the following guidelines:

1. Fees & Tax Policy

 

• Listing products on WeShopAfrica is FREE.

• Sellers are charged a maximum of 10% fee per successful order, excluding any applicable taxes.

2. Image & Listing Policy

 

1. Images must accurately represent the product and match the product title.

2. The main (first) product image must:

3. Have a pure white background (HEX #FFFFFF).

4. Be at least 800 × 800 px in size.

5. Show the product filling 60–80% of the frame.

6. Images must not be blurry, pixelated, contain watermarks, logos, contact details, or promotional text.

7. Nudity, sexually suggestive content, or inappropriate images are strictly prohibited.

8. Only JPEG or PNG formats are accepted (JPEG preferred).

9. Descriptions must be clear, accurate, and engaging. They should include:

11. Production technique and materials used.

12. Accurate dimensions (size/weight).

14. For edible or skincare products, sellers must include an FDA approval number or relevant standards board certification in the short description.

3. Delivery fees are calculated based on item weight, size, and delivery distance. Sellers must accurately measure products:

4. Weighing by Scale: Place the item on a scale and record its weight in kilograms (kg).

5. Measuring Size: For volumetric shipping, measure Length × Breadth × Height (cm).

4. Pickup Location Settings

 

• WeShopAfrica offers door-to-door delivery: sellers’ items are collected from their specified location and delivered to buyers.

• Sellers must provide their exact pickup address in their profile.

5. Shipping Policy

 

• Orders are fulfilled by WeShopAfrica Delivery and our logistics partners.

• Sellers must:

  1. Print and attach shipping labels to packaged items.

  2. Package products securely to prevent damage.

  3. Seal all food products (buyers may reject unsealed items).

• In certain cases, sellers may be required to ship via DHL or Ghana Post using the WeShopAfrica account.

• Sellers are strictly prohibited from using the WeShopAfrica shipping account for non-platform transactions. Any attempt may result in confiscation of goods.

• Orders must be shipped within 48 hours of confirmation.

• Penalties:

  1. Cancelling confirmed orders attracts penalties and reduced product visibility.

  2. Exceeding 5 cancelled orders results in account suspension.

  3. Incorrect product size/weight that increases shipping costs will be charged to the seller.

6. Compliance & Prohibited Activities

• Fraudulent activities, including attempts to defraud or launder money, are strictly prohibited.

• Low-quality or counterfeit products will result in suspension.

• Sellers who fail to comply with these policies may face:
