Returns Policy
WeShopAfrica.com focuses highly on customer satisfaction and to protect the rights and interests of a buyer and a seller for refund or return cases on WeShopAfrica,  we’ve have a system in place to help you work with sellers to reach a reasonable arrangement for returning, replacing, or refunding an item bought on the WeShopAfrica App or website. If you have a problem with one of your orders on WeShopAfrica, The first step should be to contact the seller (or the store) who sold you the item(s) in question.  Try to reach an agreement with the seller on what a reasonable resolution would be.  If you reach an impasse, you can submit a refund request of which WeShopAfrica will investigate all evidence and refund qualified buyer.

Kindly note that all refunds are processed and paid to you within 10 business working days once refund request is valid or returned product is inspected & accepted by seller. Note: Payment is made to your original method of payment, our supported payments are Credit/ Debit Card, Online Transfer, Online Bank Payment and mobile money payment.

You can initiate a return within 5 days if you receive a wrong, damaged, defective. When returning an item, ensure all seals, tags and accessories are left intact and the item is in its original packaging.

We recommend that when you receives a packages, you should take picture and video of package to support you refund & return claims should arise such a situation

That you keep the original carton and packaging materials for a smooth and easy return. Buyers may be liable for loss in value of the item if it’s returned in a different condition from which it was received, or if the item is not packaged securely to prevent damage in shipment.

Once you start a return, the seller has 5 business days to resolve your issue. If your problem isn’t solved at the end of those 5 days, you can ask us to step in and help at the Help & support section or email us support@weshopafrica.com

There are a few important things to note before one is qualified to apply for a return, replacement or refund of a product you purchased.

ITEMS CAN BE RUFUNDED OR RETURNED IF YOU’VE RECEIVED THEM IN A CONDITION THAT IS –
Physically damaged
Has missing parts or accessories
Defective
Different from its description on the product detail page on WeShopAfrica
Changed your mind about an item AND if it has not been opened but for this the buyer shall bear the cost of shipping fee
The buyer arranged their own shipping method, such as a courier pickup
The buyer provided an invalid or incorrect address at checkout


ITEMS & SITUATION THAT DISQUALIFY A REFUNDOR RETURN 

Not all products categories are eligible for return. Personal care tools , services ,transport & delivery services, adverts for example fall under the non-returnable items
Items paid for with multiple payments to the seller
Buyer custom made products cannot be returned
Items with special shipping restrictions
Items paid for using any other type of payment method not listed above (such as bank transfer, cash, money orders, escrow services payment made outside WeShopAfrica platforms)
Fashion Items cannot appear washed, use, altered and stained
Food & Beverages Item must be unopened and must not be expired
Items collected by a third party on behalf of the buyer
The buyer refused delivery for any other reason
For International shipping if the  buyer didn’t pay applicable customs fees or duties for any other reason and goods was not cleared
Buyer submits evidences that are not authentic or are forged or altered or otherwise violating our terms & conditions or any applicable laws
Force Majeure means circumstance or event that is unforeseeable, unavoidable,  or insurmountable for the Buyer and the Seller when they enter into a contract, including but not limited to natural disasters (e.g. typhoons, heavy rain, hail, earthquakes, tsunamis,  floods, volcanic eruptions, landslides), anomalies (e.g. wars, armed conflicts, riots,  uprising,  fires, explosions, toxic spills, serious outbreaks), and government actions (e.g. regulation  and control, expropriation, requisition)
